Detect heat anomalies
The RealWear Thermal Camera Module is a modular thermal imaging accessory for the RealWear Navigator 520, built for industrial inspection, maintenance and diagnostic workflows. Developed with Teledyne FLIR, it replaces the standard camera module and combines a visible-light camera with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal sensor. Frontline teams can inspect electrical systems, motors, pumps, mechanical equipment and buildings while keeping both hands available for the task. Multiple thermal and blended viewing modes help workers identify abnormal heat patterns, document findings and support preventative maintenance without introducing a separate handheld thermal camera.
Detect heat anomalies
Find faults hands-free
Check motors and pumps
Capture thermal evidence

The module adds real-time thermal imaging to the Navigator 520, with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor and a stated measurement range from -20°C to 400°C.
This helps maintenance teams identify heat anomalies during inspections while retaining the Navigator's hands-free, voice-controlled workflow.

Workers can switch between standard visual, thermal, low-blend, high-blend and FLIR MSX imaging modes depending on the inspection task.
The different views make it easier to add visual context to thermal patterns and capture evidence suited to maintenance and diagnostic reporting.

The camera module is IP66 rated and designed as a replaceable module for the rugged RealWear Navigator platform.
It supports companies that need thermal inspection capability in industrial environments without moving workers to a separate handheld device.
VR Expert supplies the RealWear Thermal Camera Module to industrial inspection, maintenance and diagnostic teams, offering business invoicing, transparent lead times and expert rollout support.
